Chris Duffin is a professional basketball player from the United States. He played college ball at the University of Connecticut where he was named to the All-Big East First Team during his senior year. He was drafted by the New York Knicks with the 19th overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft.
Duffin spent time playing for three different teams before signing with the New York Knicks as a free agent. His first season with the team saw him play in only 34 games due to injury, but he still managed to average 11 points per game while shooting 47% from behind the arc.
Duffin helped the Knicks to their best regular season record in 18 years and also reach the second round of the playoffs, both franchise firsts for him.
He has been a member of the United States Men’s National Basketball Team and has won gold at the 2011 Pan American Games and 2014 World Cup.

Duffin was born on November 23rd, 1984 in Annapolis, Maryland to Charles and Lisa Duffin. He has an older sister, Jennifer. His father was a former Navy pilot who died when he was ten years old in a plane crash during a training exercise.
He grew up in Severn, Maryland where he attended Herbert Hoover High School and played on their basketball team.
