Book Review: “Paleo Workouts for Dummies” by Pat Flynn

The Paleo Diet is a diet that was developed by Loren Cordain in the 1970’s. It promotes eating foods like meat, fish, fruits and vegetables. You don’t eat dairy products or eggs because they are not part of the human diet at all. Many paleo diets have been created over time but none seem to work as well as the one that Loren created called the Paleolithic Diet (Paleo).

In fact, many paleo dieters claim that their paleo diet works better than any other type of diet out there. They say it helps them lose weight, get stronger and live longer. Some even go so far as to say that it is healthier than the standard Western diet!

So what does this mean?

Well, if you’re following a paleo diet then you probably aren’t eating much processed food. You might be drinking lots of water and getting plenty of sunlight every day. You might be doing some sort of exercise regularly. And most importantly, you probably aren’t consuming too many refined sugars and starches. These things will cause your body to break down muscle tissue faster than it can build new muscle tissue. Your body will start using up all the available resources before you’ve had a chance to reach your potential.

If you want to lose weight then you need to eat less calories than normal people do. Then you have to get plenty of exercise by walking, running, biking or swimming. The paleo diet is very efficient for weight loss because your body will start using up all the fat reserves that are stored inside it.

People who want to gain muscle but don’t know how to should definitely consider the Paleo diet. It is perfect for gaining lots of lean mass quickly and safely!

How much exercise do you need to do?

It is very important that you get some exercise whenever you can. The best types of exercise are: running, biking, swimming and strength training. You should do at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise every day! If you’re trying to lose weight then you should be doing about an hour or more of high-intensity interval training every day.

Are there any exceptions?

If you have health conditions then you may not be able to do certain exercises. For example, if you’re obese or have heart disease then you shouldn’t do high-intensity interval training. Instead, you should start out with low-intensity exercise like walking and slowly build up from there.

It is also very important that pregnant women get the proper amount of exercise. However, if you are pregnant then you should consult your doctor before doing any strenuous exercise. You should also consult a doctor before starting any exercise program if you have a history of heart problems.
