Diane Sanfilippo recommends that you eat only fruits and vegetables, no grains, dairy products, meat or anything else that contains refined sugars. All of these foods contain calories which will cause weight gain. You must avoid all processed foods because they are high in added sugars.
These include baked goods (pastries), candy bars, cookies and other sweets. They also include beverages such as soda pop and juice drinks.

What Can I Eat?
You can eat any kind of meat including red meat, chicken, turkey and fish. In addition to these, you can have eggs and nuts. You can also have a lot of fruits and vegetables. You can prepare your food using garlic, onions, chili peppers, ginger root, mustard and most spices.
What Should I Avoid?
Avoid all grains such as wheat bread, rice and pasta. Also avoid milk and dairy products such as cream, cheese and yogurt. You should also avoid eating beans or drinking bean juice (such as soybean). Other foods that you should avoid are fruit juices, alcohol and any kind of sweets.
What Happens After the 21 Days?
After the 21 days you can slowly add some of the foods back into your diet. You should also slowly increase the amount of carbohydrates that you eat. It’s a good idea to continue drinking water every two hours. Don’t eat after 6pm at night. The only other change that you need to make is to get more exercise. You can start going for a walk every day.
