Chicken Legs Don’t Suit You: It’s Leg Day

The article is about chicken legs don’t suit you: it’s leg day. In the past few years there have been many jokes and memes related to chicken legs don’t suit you. These jokes usually involve someone saying something like “I’m not wearing any pants today” or “I got no legs at all”.

The joke often involves a person getting offended when they hear such remarks. However, these jokes are just plain stupid.

Let me explain why.

What does it mean to say that I’m not wearing any pants? Is this a compliment?

No! If you’re going to make fun of someone for their lack of clothing, then you need to do so in a way that makes them feel good about themselves.

For example, if someone says “You look fat”, what would happen if they responded with “Thank you”? Would they be seen as being offensive?

Probably not. They’d probably laugh and think it was funny.

But what happens if you respond with “No, thank you”? What if they responded with “Why?”?

Well, now they’ve insulted your intelligence and made you feel bad about yourself.

Now what would happen if instead of responding with a negative comment, you replied with a positive one?

That would likely result in them feeling better about themselves too. This is why the jokes are stupid because they’re often not funny. Although, I guess if you’re not the one being insulted, then they can be pretty funny.

Why would someone choose to make such negative comments?

It’s probably due to their own insecurities. The person that makes such negative remarks is likely jealous of those that have what they don’t. In fact, sometimes these people actively try to sabotage those that are better than them.
