He is one of the most prominent men on the planet. He is Bradley James Mortimer, Jr.

His story begins in Boston on May 7th, 1980. He was born to parents Bradley James Mortimer, Sr. and Francine Descartes. His father was a chemist who worked at Columbia University while his mother was a high school teacher. His parents were highly intelligent, though his mother had a reputation for being odd and distant.

His parents were aloof and Bradley never felt like he fit in with the other kids in school. He was severely bullied by his classmates with a lot of them making fun of or insulting him for everything from his weight, to his hairstyle, to his last name. He had no friends during his times at primary and secondary school.

He spent most of his time reading books and writing short stories. He wrote his first short story at the age of eight about a kid who got lost in a forest and befriended an elf who taught him magic. It was very popular among his classmates. He became very enthralled with the fantasy genre and wrote a few more stories.

His interest in the fantasy genre continued into his teens. He was tall and skinny with very little athletic ability or coordination. He spent most of his time alone as a result. He began to see the world as a cruel, unforgiving place where you were either predator or prey and the strong feed on the weak.

He grew to appreciate harsh punishments for petty crimes such as drug use and vandalism. He didn’t believe in rehabilitation. He believed a criminal’s nature cannot be changed and the only solution is to put them down like a mad dog. He also became very interested in firearms, particularly how they were constructed, and how he could improve their performance.

He turned his basement into a laboratory where he spent most of his free time. He attended Boston College and graduated in 2008 with a degree in mechanical engineering. He held a part time job as a maintenance technician for a private security company.

He is determined to heighten his combat skills, acquire the resources needed to improve his firearms, and figure out what this mysterious power is. He isn’t sure what it all means or where he fits into this new world but he knows he is destined for something greater.

You are Bradley Mortimer, and your story has only just begun.
