Ease Yourself – And Your Family – Into A Paleo Way Of Eating

What Is Paleo?

Paleo is a way of eating based on the natural evolution of human beings. It’s not just about avoiding grains, legumes, dairy products and sugar; it’s about being healthy. You might think that all those things are bad for you, but they’re actually good for your body!

The Paleo Diet: How To Eat For Health & Happiness

A Paleo diet is a very simple one. You eat like our ancestors did thousands of years ago when there was no processed foods or fast food restaurants. You have to start with the basics and build from there. If you want to lose weight, you need to cut out refined sugars and grains completely (and get rid of processed ones).

But if you want to maintain your health, you don’t have to give up anything. All the fruits and vegetables that are included in a Paleo diet will provide vitamins, minerals and fiber. They’ll keep you full longer than most junk foods do.

Why Do I Need To Eat Like An Ancient Human?

You probably aren’t going to be able to follow a strict Paleo diet because it requires so much time and effort.

But why would you want to if you aren’t losing weight?

There are three main reasons that your doctor might recommend a Paleo diet. The first one is to lose weight. The second reason is to manage your disease. And the third reason is to prevent future diseases. Many people have food allergies or sensitivities, and they don’t even know it. Once you cut those foods out of your diet, you’ll start feeling a lot better.

What Do I Eat?

As a Paleo diet newbie, you probably have a lot of questions.

Should I eat meat or not? How much fruits and vegetables should I eat? What about dessert?

The best way to get answers to these questions is to consult a Paleo cookbook. You can find hundreds of them online; just do an Amazon search and see what you find. You’ll notice that most of them have at least one thing in common: they cut out grains, legumes and refined sugars. But they also cut out dairy, most processed foods and even some fruits and vegetables. If you want to lose weight on the Paleo diet, you’ll have to be very disciplined.

What Can I Expect?

The biggest benefit to the Paleo diet is that you’ll lose weight if you stick to it. But you should also expect to have more energy than before too. You might need less sleep since your body isn’t working as hard breaking down junk food and trying to digest it. Eventually, you’ll probably feel better thanks to the lack of toxins in your body. Of course, you should also expect your friends and family to give you a hard time about eating the “wrong” things. It’s all part of becoming Paleo!
