Charles Staley is one of the most successful strength coaches in history. His clients include Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mike Tyson, Sylvester Stallone, and many others. Charles was born in New York City in 1941 and grew up there until he moved to California at the age of 17 where he became a professional bodybuilder. After retiring from competing, Charles went back into coaching and has been doing so ever since.
In addition to being a renowned trainer, Charles is also known for his books which have sold over 20 million copies worldwide. They are called “Fixing Your Body” and they provide advice on everything from diet to exercise to personal development. These books have become popular because they offer practical solutions that work. For example, one of the best-selling exercises in these books involves putting a deck of playing cards inside your hand and then performing various pushups while holding them.
Charles’ books are considered some of the best-selling fitness manuals of all time. Charles Staley’s book “Fixing Your Body” has sold over 20 million copies worldwide. If you want to learn how to build muscle mass, get leaner, and lose fat fast, you’ll definitely want to read this book!
In this article, we will talk about how to get the most out of Charles’ books so you can transform your body and your life. I have used these techniques myself to build muscle mass and lose fat and I have seen them work for a lot of other people as well. In fact, these techniques have helped many of my online coaching clients transform their bodies and change their lives. So without further ado, let’s get started.
The first tip I have for you is to pay attention to your goals. These books are actually separated into different ones depending on what your goals are: losing fat, gaining muscle mass, or becoming more powerful. You should really read all of the books because they offer a wide range of advice that is useful in one way or another.
However, the information in these books is not particularly useful if you don’t know how to apply it. For example, let’s say you want to gain 15 pounds of muscle mass. You can read all about the different kinds of food and how many calories and proteins and such they contain, but you won’t actually gain any muscle mass if you don’t eat. So knowing all the information is pointless unless you actually DO what the books tell you to do. Always make sure to put the information into practice.
The next tip I have for you is to keep a notebook with you at all times. I find that I learn a lot better when I write things down, so I would recommend finding a nice notebook that you will enjoy writing in and taking it with you everywhere. Whenever you encounter something new or something you don’t understand, write it down in your notebook so you can look back at it later. Eventually, you will have a nice collection of notes that can help you on your journey to achieve your goals.
Now, these books can be kind of overwhelming when you first get them because there is a lot of information in them. In fact, they are so large that it would be nearly impossible to remember everything in them. That’s why you are going to need a system for remembering the information that you write down in your notebook.
The next tip I have for you is to make notes on the books themselves. That may sound a bit weird at first, but what I do is I write down key pieces of information that really stand out to me on the book itself with a marker. For example, if there is a paragraph that gives advice on what to eat to gain muscle mass, I underline that paragraph in yellow marker so I can easily find it again whenever I need to. The point is to highlight the most important pieces of information so that you can easily find them whenever you want to.
The last piece of advice I have for you is to use your common sense. If you are reading something in one of the books that just doesn’t sound right to you, don’t follow it. For example, there is a tip in the fat loss book that says that if you drink a lot of water, your body will flush out the fat faster. Sounds great in theory, but in practice water is water. Your body doesn’t know if the water coming in is for hydration or flushing fat out, so the result will be the same.
Common sense will usually prevail.
These are the four keys to success: read, write, remember and use your common sense. If you follow these simple tips, you will succeed in your goals. I wish you the best of luck.”
“Fat Loss Happens on the Muscle, Not in the Kitchen”
“If you are reading this sentence, then you have purchased the newest book written by world renowned personal trainer Johnathan Frankle. If you have not heard of him, then you are in for a treat. His methods are proven and his success rate is higher than any other trainer in the world. Countless celebrities and other well known people have stated that his training methods have lead them to achieve their goals. Now, for the first time ever, his secrets are revealed to the general public in a four book series.
The first book in this series is about fat loss. Many people struggle with this issue as much as they do with gaining muscle mass. This is because these issues are very closely related. If you gain a lot of fat, then it will be difficult to build muscle. The reason for this is because the added weight that your body has to support inhibits it’s ability to grow.
Muscles only grow when they are stressed. If you have a lot of extra weight, your body isn’t going to put too much effort into growing them because it’s already dealing with the stress of all that weight. It’s the same reason why someone who is obese will never have a six pack, no matter how hard they try.
However, as with gaining muscle mass, the opposite is also true. If you lose a significant amount of fat, then this will also allow your body to grow more muscle because it’s not dealing with as much stress anymore. It’s like taking some of the weight off of an obese person so they can start working out and training more.
Fat loss, just like muscle gain, is all about calories in vs calories out. Calories are units of energy. If you eat more calories than you use, then your body will store these excess calories as fat cells for later use. However, the key to fat loss is not starvation or excessive exercise; it’s discipline. You need to eat at a caloric deficit while exercising regularly.
You need to eat at least 1600 calories a day if you’re a guy and 1800 if you’re a girl. If you’re particularly skinny, then I’d suggest going for 2000. Don’t be a wimp and buy foods with too many carbs or sugars. Heavy proteins and complex carbs are what you should be looking for. Get a food scale, a measuring cup and a calculator now to help you with this.
This is also the part where people screw up. They think that they can get away with not exercising because they’re eating less; this is a big mistake. If you want to see changes fast, you NEED to exercise. The best kind for fat loss is High Intensity Interval Training (or HITT). This means that you exercise at near full strenuous effort for a brief period, rest and then do it again.
You keep doing this until you reach your daily quota. I suggest that you use an app on your phone to time your exercises. Twenty seconds of strenuous effort should be followed by 40 seconds of low intensity effort. This is the most effective type of exercise for fat loss.
As I already said, discipline is the key to this process. You need to strictly follow this regime every day. If you want, you could also do a weekly muscle building routine.
This book should be all the motivation that you need to get started on your fitness regime. It doesn’t matter who you are or what type of body you want to have, this fitness book will tell you how to get there. All of your answers are in this book; all you need to do is read on!
