Hand Care 101: Preventing Rips

The first thing to do when dealing with hand injuries is to stop training. If you are injured, then it’s best if you don’t train at all until your injury heals completely. When your pain is gone, then you can start training again.

You will have to make sure that the area where the injury occurred does not get repeated trauma like running or lifting weights over and over again.

There are many ways to prevent hand injuries. There are some simple things that everyone can do to keep their hands healthy. The most important thing is to avoid repetitive stress injuries (CSE).

CSE refers to any type of repetitive strain injury such as strains, tears, contusions, sprains and pulls. These types of injuries cause damage that leads to a decrease in strength and power which may lead to loss of performance and even permanent disability.

CrossFit athletes are very competitive and they want to improve their performance. They often compete against other CrossFitters. Some of these competitors use different types of equipment than others.

For example, some use barbells while others prefer dumbbells and kettle bells. One athlete uses heavy weight plates while another prefers lighter weight plates. Some CrossFitter choose to perform exercises using only bodyweight whereas others prefer assistance from a partner or coach during the exercise routine. One group might do high-visibility CrossFit training in a stadium, while another prefers to train at a local park.

This all sounds very simple, but when there are several different types of equipment available as well as different training locations and different training groups, it can become confusing for the CrossFitter who wants to get the most out of his or her workout.

So what factors can influence CrossFit training?

There are quite a few.
