Eating lots of protein helps keep blood sugar down and keeps hunger low so that you don’t overeat.
In general, most people have different needs. Some need less carbs while others need more. So there isn’t one right answer.

Eating only animal based proteins can also cause problems since you won’t be getting any of the nutrients that come from plant-based foods, such as certain vitamins and antioxidants.
To sum everything up, you can eat however you want as long as your diet is providing you with the necessary nutrients that your body requires.
However, in terms of weight loss and general health, a balanced approach involving all three is the best way to go. That means you should eat a little bit of everything since each macronutrient has its own benefits.
People tend to only focus on what they can and can’t have, which often leads to binging. A better way to approach it is to maintain a balanced diet while still indulging in your favorite foods every once in awhile.
Of course, if you want to lose weight faster, then restricting your diet a bit is okay too as long as you aren’t doing it for an extended period of time.
