Jeff Ford

Jeffrey Forrester (born December 29, 1969) is an American actor, writer and producer. He was born in New York City to actress Deborah Kerr and television producer Jeffrey Forrester. His father is Jewish and his mother is Catholic.[1] He attended the prestigious Stuyvesant High School in Manhattan where he played football, basketball and baseball. After high school, he went to Juilliard where he studied acting under Richard Roxburgh.

In 1995, Forrester made his film debut in the independent comedy The Last Picture Show starring Robin Williams and Tim Robbins. He appeared in several other films such as The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!

(1994), Superbad (1998), and Almost Famous (1999). Forrester’s most notable role was in the 2000 drama A Few Good Men which won him an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. In 2003, he starred in the romantic comedy Love & Other Drugs with Julia Roberts and Brad Pitt. He has since appeared in movies such as The Master (2012), The Great Gatsby (2013), The Wolf of Wall Street (2014) and Zero Dark Thirty (2015).

Forrester is married to actress Jessica Biel. The couple first met in 2003 while they were working on the film The Rules of Attraction (2002).

They married in a secret ceremony at their home in Jackson Hole, Wyoming in July 2013. In September 2013, Biel gave birth to their first child, a daughter.

Career

Forrester made his first television appearance in 1987 when he was just 18 years old and still a freshman at New York University. He played a medical student in a minor role on the ABC series, Hotel.

After studying at Juilliard, Forrester went on to appear in several small films and television dramas. In 1994, he had a recurring role as Greg Rodgers on CBS’s drama, Central Park West. He appeared in two episodes of the popular crime drama, Numb3rs. He followed that up with a role in the mini-series Blonde, about the Marilyn Monroe. In 2008, he played a small role in a film based on 1980s pop star Corey Feldman’s life called Today’s Special. He was also part of the ensemble cast of the 2010’s period drama, The Company Men, starring alongside Ben Affleck, Chris Cooper and Tommy Lee Jones.

Forrester soon began to get more prominent roles in films. In 1995, he played Brian Christiansen in the crime drama The Last Picture Show.

In 1998, he played the role of Lucy Liu’s boyfriend in the romantic comedy Simon Birch, and in 1999 he appeared as a journalist in the thriller The General’s Daughter. He played the role of Elliot in the 2001 comedy Bewitched. In 2008, he appeared in the Oscar-winning drama The Reader, starring Kate Winslet and Ralph Fiennes.

Forrester is most known for his roles in several historical dramas. He played Henry Stafford in 2005’s infamous King Arthur.

His most notable role to date was his performance as Private Witt in the critically-acclaimed 2009 film, The Hurt Locker. He won a Critic’s Choice Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in the film. In 2012, he appeared as Chris in the Academy Award-winning drama, Zero Dark Thirty.

Personal Life

Forrester was married to actress Margery Cohn from 2007-2012. The couple have a son and daughter together.

In June 2013, he started dating actress Jessica Biel. They engaged in August 2014 and married in July 2015 in an intimate ceremony at their home in Wyoming. In September 2013, Biel gave birth to the couple’s daughter.
