John Hackleman was born on October 28th, 1973 in New York City. He attended the Parsons School of Design where he studied graphic design. During his time at Parsons, he worked with several notable artists including Marc Quinn and Chris Ofili. After graduating from Parsons, John went to work for a film company called MCA Pictures (makers of “The Goonies”). There, he designed posters for films such as “Back To The Future”, “Ghostbusters” and “Pretty Woman”. He also did some concept art for movies like “The Crow” and “Dawn Of The Dead.”
In 1998, John moved to Los Angeles where he began working as a designer for various TV shows such as “Lost,” “Alias,” and other shows. In 2001, he left television to pursue a career in film. His first major role came in 2002’s horror movie, “Nightmare On Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors.” From there, he became known for his roles in films such as “The Ring,” “The Descent,” and “Crimson Tide.”
He currently lives in Los Angeles. He is married to actress Kate Hudson. They have two children together, son Jack and daughter Lily Rose.
His hobbies include reading, writing poetry, playing guitar and listening to music. He enjoys traveling around the world visiting different places and experiencing new cultures.
Let’s talk a little about his personal life and relationships. In 1984, he married a woman named Lisa Collins. Sadly, the marriage did not last and ended in divorce in 1986. In 2000, he married model/actress Jane Stuart.
The couple had two children together, son Ryder Russell and daughter Bingham “Bing” Russell. Sadly, their marriage did not last either and they divorced in 2008. In 2010, he married actress and model Elizabeth Kelly. They currently live together in Los Angeles with their two children.
His career has been extremely successful as well. In the late 90s, he had a small role in the film “The Replacement Killers.” Later, he was cast in a role in the popular film series, “Mission: Impossible.” Since then, he has gone on to star in dozens of films and TV shows.

Among his directorial credits are episodes of the popular crime drama “NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service” and the hit series “Prison Break.”
While his career has been extremely successful, he is perhaps best known for his role in the extremely popular film series, “The Fast And The Furious.” As of today, he has appeared in six of the films in the franchise. He reprises his role as FBI Agent Brian O’Conner in the latest sequel, “Fate Of The Furious.”

In addition to acting and directing, John has tried his hand at voice acting as well. He provided the voice of the character “Captain Price” in the extremely popular game “Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.” For that role, he was nominated for a “Golden Spike Awards” for “Best Performance By A Human Male.”
In addition to film roles, he has also made a name for himself on the small screen. He currently stars in the extremely popular series “Shameless.”
John is a talented musician as well and has even released two albums under the name “Orlando.” His albums are titled “I’m Not Your Boyfriend” and “A Promising Future.”
