The paleo diet and primal exercise routines are based on intermittent fasting, high intensity interval training and resistance training. Intermittent fasting helps to increase the release of hormones which improve the body’s fat burning capabilities.

Your body is a machine and in order to get the most out of it you have to challenge it. High Intensity Interval Training helps to break down glucose and fat stores and build lean muscle mass. As your muscles grow and strengthen, they require more energy. This increased energy demand helps propel you into a fat burning state.

As the body adapts to a routine, it becomes less challenging and eventually becomes boring. By switching up your exercise routines and varying your diet, you keep the body guessing.

It never has the chance to plateau or adjust which is what leads to a decrease in results.
