What does it mean?
The meaning of Scrap Away The Pain – Guasha is: To remove pain from your body. You can scrape away the pain of injuries or other ailments. A person who scrapes away the pains of others will have a better life and happiness in their lives. There are many different types of scourges that one could face, but they all share common features such as physical, mental, emotional or spiritual afflictions. These afflictions may not be able to kill you, but they can make your life miserable. They can cause you to suffer from various diseases and illnesses which might even lead to death. One way of removing these afflictions is through medical treatment, but if that doesn’t work out then there are other ways of removing them. One of those ways is through the use of herbal remedies. The most popular remedy used in China is called gua sha . The Chinese believe that using gua sha can remove all kinds of afflictions including physical, mental, emotional and spiritual ones. However, there are some things that you need to keep in mind before trying this remedy. First off, it’s very expensive and requires a lot of time to prepare it properly. Second, it’s not as effective in removing all types of ailments. It’s particularly useful for curing physical problems and is less effective in treating mental problems. It is also not very effective for infants.
Sha patterns in gua sha
Before we can start discussing about the technique in general terms, we need to learn about sha patterns first. When you perform gua sha you need to apply some pressure on the patient’s skin so that the blood starts flowing towards that region. As a result, the skin gets damaged.
In the process of treating that region you should also treat the damaged skin as well by applying herbal oils or other types of ointments on it. The appearance of red or purple spots on the skin is a good indication that you are performing gua sha properly. This kind of skin damage is not harmful if performed carefully and properly. You may also see temporary increase in pain in that region before seeing general reduction in pain throughout the body.
Patterns of sha
There are three different types of sha patterns that you need to be aware of. The first one is called the sunburst pattern. This is the simplest type of sha and it’s mainly used to treat smaller areas such as localized pain in muscles or joints.
It can be round or oval in shape with radiating lines extending from the center like the rays of the sun. The second one is known as the “w” pattern. It’s used to treat larger areas and it looks like the letter “w”. The last one is the “s” pattern. It’s mainly used on central regions of the body such as abdomen, chest or back. This “s” pattern looks like the letter itself. You can use any one of these patterns depending on the region that you need to treat.
You can either use a square, circular motion or linear motion when performing gua sha. The most important thing is to apply even pressure using the tool that you are using. As far as tools are concerned, you can use anything that can scrapes away the top most layers of skin gently without breaking or cutting it.
Some people use common items such as coins, razors, knives, credit cards and others. The important thing is to choose a tool that won’t cut or break the skin and is small enough to fit in the region that you are treating. For instance, you wouldn’t use a knife to pattern your abdomen; you would use something smaller like a coin instead.
As with any other self-treatment remedy, it’s always better to consult a doctor before trying this on your own. If the pain is really bad, you should try to find a way of getting medical attention as soon as possible. Remember that this is just a temporary solution that can provide immediate relief from pain.
It will not cure the disease or condition that you have. Also, even though this treatment is considered to be safe and effective, but there’s always some level of risk involved. One wrong move and you could end up doing more harm than good.
If you do decide to use this method, make sure you pattern slowly and carefully and don’t rush things. Pain can do funny things to people, and it’s very easy to lose your concentration and make a mistake. Go at your own pace and try to stay as focused as you can.
If you start getting nervous or feel like you’re about to make a mistake, take a short break and get yourself some water before continuing. It’s recommended that you perform gua sha therapy in a quiet room with as few external disturbances as possible. Also, it would be a good idea to have someone else nearby (who is not watching you directly) in case you should fall or something of that sort.
You’ve done all you can, now you have to wait and see if this treatment goes through.
It takes about a week until the worst of your symptoms begin to fade. At first it’s just a reduction in pain and an increase in appetite. Then after that week is over, the remaining symptoms disappear completely.
You feel like a new person, although your body is still weak from the disease. You have to continue with your life and try to enjoy the time you have left.As time goes on, you are eventually is able to return to work and live your normal life again, but there’s always that little nagging feeling in the back of your mind that you’re not going to survive much longer.
Despite the grim prospect of your future, you try to live life to the fullest and enjoy what time you have left.
Three years pass by and you live a good life despite the disease. However, your life cut short when the tuberculosis finally takes it toll on your body. You died at a young age of 35, but you at least leave a legacy behind in which others can learn from your mistakes.
