The benefits of getting paid to work out are many. You will have more money and you can spend it on yourself or your loved ones. You won’t need to worry about whether you’ll eat tomorrow because you’re going to eat today!

And if something goes wrong with your body, you don’t have to pay for medical bills! Of course there’s the downside too; like losing all motivation and becoming lazy.

If you want to lose weight, you could do it for free at the gym. If you want to gain muscle mass, then you might need to buy some supplements.

But what if you just want to get fit? What if that’s not your thing?

Well, here’s where the gympact comes into play. A gympact is a contract between two parties whereby one party pays another for performing certain tasks such as exercise or other physical activities. The payment varies from person to person, but it usually involves money.

What makes a gympact different than a regular job?

For starters, the gympact is voluntary. No one forces you to go to the gym or any other place where you sign up for physical labor. There are no penalties if you fail to perform your task properly (like working out for hours without eating). You can also carry out your task at a time and place of your own choosing. You will not necessarily have supervisors or managers breathing down your neck about when you need to work out.

If this sounds too good to be true, that’s because it is. There is no such thing as a free lunch, and being paid to exercise is no different. Even though the gympact is voluntary, there are repercussions for shirking on your responsibilities.

If you fail to perform your task, such as skipping out of three workouts in a row, then you can be held legally accountable for breaching the contract. That means that you may need to pay a fine which can range from $200 all the way up to $2,000.

(Some workout regiments are very strict about this rule and can sometimes involve criminal charges. But it is highly unlikely that you will have to pay more than $2,000).

If you are struggling with money and three workouts a week sounds too much for you, you could always down-grade your membership to the free-tier. This means that you will not be obligated to work out three times a week, but you can only go to one of their locations once every three days. Even if you choose this option, it is still in your best interest to fulfill your contract.
