Tongkat Ali Side Effects Liver: What You Need To Know About The Drug
The drug known as “tongkat ali” or “banned substance” is a natural plant extract from the leaves of the Piper methysticum tree. Its main active ingredient is called tannin which acts on various organs such as liver, heart, lungs and kidneys. It causes blood vessels to dilate and relax causing increased oxygen flow into these areas. It also reduces inflammation and helps with healing wounds.
It is commonly used in Chinese medicine for its anti-inflammatory properties, but it may have other health benefits too. Some studies suggest that it could help prevent cancer, heart disease and diabetes. There are no reports yet showing any negative effects of using the drug. However, there are some reports suggesting that it might cause liver damage if taken in high doses (more than 30 grams) over a period of time (at least three months).
In China, the drug is not widely available because it is considered illegal. However, it is sold illegally online through websites like Amazon and Ebay. Many users in the United States buy it from overseas vendors who ship them to the U.S., where they sell them on street corners or even in grocery stores.
The price varies depending on what country you’re buying from and whether or not you get free shipping.
