A high carb intake causes insulin levels to rise and this increases hunger, leading to overeating and weight gain.

4) Your hormones are out of balance.

Hormones are chemicals that control various processes in the body. When they’re out of balance, they can cause all kinds of different issues. For example, if you have too much estrogen in your body, then this can cause weight gain.

5) You don’t exercise enough.

You need to exercise on a regular basis to build muscle and burn more calories. The more muscle you have, the faster your metabolism will be. Also, be sure to strength train as it helps you burn more fat even when you are at rest.

6) You eat too much food.

The saying “You are what you eat” is true when it comes to weight gain or loss. If you eat too much, then you will gain weight. It’s as simple as that.
