Half marathon runners are generally older than the general population. This is because they have been training longer and are more experienced at running long distances. They also tend to live longer lives due to their healthier lifestyles. Because of these factors, half marathons tend to attract a younger crowd. The average age of a half marathoner is 34 years old.

This means that the average runner is likely to be in his or her 30’s, 40’s, 50’s and 60’s.

The Average 10K Time Is 3:00 Minutes

10k runners are typically younger than the other two races. Their ages range from 13 to 18 years old. Most of them live with their parents and attend school. Some of them even go to college. Many of them are involved in sports teams such as soccer, basketball, baseball and hockey.

The average age of a 10k runner is 15 years old.

The Average 5K Time Is 4:20 Minutes

5k runners are usually between the ages 12 and 17 years old. These kids do not participate in any organized activities like sports teams or clubs. Most of them go to public schools and do not have part-time jobs. These kids are involved in music classes, art clubs and student government. The average age of a 5k runner is 15 years old.

The Average Mile Time Is 6:00 Minutes

Mile runners are between the ages of 18 and 21 years old. Most of them have just finished their first year of college. A few have part-time jobs or internships. The majority of them live on or off campus. The average age of a mile runner is 20 years old.
