As for the amount of reps that you should be aiming for, well that’s a little more complicated. Ultimately it’s going to depend on your fitness level and goals. If you’re a beginner, then you should try to build up to 25 reps per set in three months. If you can do more than 25 then that’s great!

If you can’t reach that goal, then don’t worry about it. Try doing more reps if you feel able to do so. If not, then that’s fine as well.

If you’re an experienced lifter, then you should aim for around 50 reps per set in three months. It may take longer than that depending on your current fitness level. Of course if you’re someone who is in really good shape already, then you may not be able to reach this goal no matter how hard you try. If that is the case, then just maintain your current fitness level.

If you’re looking to increase the amount of reps that you do, then you should try to do it gradually. Don’t try to push yourself too hard!
