What Is Strongman?
Strongman is a sport where competitors use heavy objects such as logs or steel bars to perform various tasks. They are typically used for lifting weights, but they can also be used for other activities like pushing carts, carrying boxes and doing many other things. A strongman competitor uses their strength and power in order to compete against others in competitions. Strongmen have been competing since the early 1900’s when it was first created by George “The Beast” Gifford. Today there are over 100 strongman events worldwide with several different styles of competition.
