Will Levy

Will Levy is a popular actor who was born in 1968. He has appeared in several films and television series such as “The Hunger Games”, “Empire” and “Law & Order”. He won the Best Actor Award at the 2012 Academy Awards for his performance in the film “12 Years A Slave.”

He married actress Elizabeth Gutiérrez in 2010. They have one child together named Isabella Grace Gutiérrez.

Biography Edit

Early Life Edit

Levy grew up in New York City where he attended Stuyvesant High School. At age 17, he moved to Los Angeles with his girlfriend Elizabeth Gutiérrez.[1][2] His first film role came when he played a minor character in the 1992 movie “Swingers,”[3] which starred Jennifer Love Hewitt and Paul Walker.

Career Edit

In 1995, Levy joined the cast of the TV series “Lethal Weapon” as Detective Frank Drebin. In 1997, he co-starred alongside Chris Penn in the comedy drama “The Big Chill.”[4] After filming, Levy and Penn were both nominated for a Golden Globe Award for their performances in the film.[5] In 1999, he had a supporting role opposite Julie White in the romantic drama “A Thousand Words.” He played Ed Lauter in the 2000 war drama “We Were Soldiers.” The following year, he played the character Vince in a multi-character drama titled “The Royal Tenenbaums,” which was written and directed by Wes Anderson.

In 2002, he co-starred with Franka Potente in the romantic drama “Catch Me If You Can” as FBI agent Carl Hanratty who is on the hunt for conman Frank Abagnale Jr. (played by Leonardo DiCaprio). In the same year he played Captain Richard Ryback in the TV series “Days of Our Lives.” In 2008, he played Bill Flynn in the drama-thriller “21” opposite Jim Sturgess and Kevin Spacey. He played Detective James Carter in the 2009 action-comedy “Takers” alongside Matt Dillon and Paul Walker.

He plays Detective David Waters in the TV series “Person of Interest” opposite Jim Caveziel and Taraji P. Henson. In 2012, he played the main antagonist, The Plutocrat in the superhero comedy “The Watch.”

Personal Life Edit

He married Elizabeth Gutiérrez in 1996. They have one child together named Isabella Grace who was born in 2013. He has a daughter named Catalina from a previous relationship.
